Cablecom Corporation dates back to 1974 when Cablecom pioneered the first cable system in Chicago. From installations in Lake Point Towers and the Mercantile Exchange to the John Hancock Center and the IBM Building, Cablecom became Chicago’s leading cable distributor, building a subscriber base of over 85,000.

Cablecom maintains regional capabilities in Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Chicago, Illinois, and has strategic alliances throughout the Midwest.

The Company's Electrical Division provides turnkey solutions and specializes in the design, installation and maintenance of projects such as schools, multi-family housing, and high rise buildings. This Division provides systems, communications, security and data cabling for all industries.

Cablecom has constructed multimillion-dollar projects for major industrial design, engineering and construction management firms and provides facility maintenance and retrofit services to many of the schools, as well as other clients.
